Care Team’s top priority is the health and wellbeing of our patients and our employees. Every day we take steps to ensure that the interactions between our staff and those we care for produce as little risk as possible in transmitting illnesses. Our safety standards have been unparalleled, and that hold true during this time of uncertainty.
Due to the Coronavirus that is currently circulating across the globe, Care Team has been taking even further precautionary measures to decrease the risk and exposure that takes place in our business.
How is Care Team making sure our patients are avoiding any possible exposures?
- We screen all existing patients on a weekly basis, and we have our caretakers monitor patient symptoms and ask a series of questions to each patient before every visit.
- Our employees are instructed to take and record their own temperatures twice a day and report ANY AND ALL symptoms to our office so that measures can be taken if a caretaker begins exhibiting any symptoms relating to the Coronavirus.
- If an employee reports any symptoms, then they will be sent home and Care Team will schedule a different caretaker to assist our patient.
- We supply every employee with masks, gloves and sanitizing wipes and gels. Our employees disinfect every piece of equipment they use between every and all patients.
We have also taken immediately taken advantage of the Paycheck Protection Program and used our banking connections and comprehensive financial reporting to be able to win quick approval to provide pay to employees affected. We are focused on making sure that any affected employees will not go without a paycheck should they be unable to work due to this pandemic. The protection of our employees is paramount in keeping with our management strategy of maintaining a great relationship with our employees, as shown in the Top Workplaces of Tampa Bay 2019 & 2020 awards.
